Hosted by our expert veterinary team, this 90 minute webinar and live Q&A, with a Royal Canin first aid kit mailed directly to your door, will teach you how to provide your dog with support and comfort until they can get proper medical attention from a vet. By registering for the workshop, you will also be helping to support Guide Dogs' life-changing work.

A dog first aid kit in an easy-to-carry pouch, courtesy of Royal Canin, plus extra bandage for practising during the webinar.

Introduction
Considerations when giving first aid - keeping both you and your dog safe and knowing what to expect when seeking veterinary help.
Safety first
How to handle an injured dog - using calming techniques, restraints and muzzles, and how to lift and transport your dog safely.
Emergency first aid
How to provide immediate care for wounds, haemorrhaging, burns, scalds, stings and bites, including emergency bandaging.
Your first aid kit
How to correctly use the contents of your Royal Canin dog first aid kit e.g. bandages, tick remover, foil blanket and gauze dressings.
Knowing the signs
How to spot the symptoms of life-threatening conditions like heatstroke, hypothermia, and poisoning.
Q&A
Ask our trained veterinary experts your first aid questions and get advice and guidance live at the end of the workshop.

A dog first aid kit posted to your door
Step 1:
Sign up and complete payment
Follow this link to our payment form and complete it. You will be asked to enter your contact information and payment details. We will collect your address as well so we know where to post your first aid kit. You must be 18+ to purchase this product.
Step 2:
Register for the webinar
Once you have paid, you will be directed to a confirmation page which will include a link to complete your registration to the webinar – you will need to follow the button to ‘Register’ and enter your name and email address.
Step 3:
Confirmation and postage
You will receive a confirmation email with a link to the webinar. Your first aid kit will be mailed out to you before the workshop (please note, you must be registered by Wednesday 15th January to receive the first aid kit before the workshop).
